Jiggety-Jig

Home again! Another whirlwind weekend of working on mom's house. Thanks to Kimmy, the house looks and smells presentable. Which is a good thing because we had 6 showings on Sat. The weather was practically unbearable. Saturday around 2pm the temp was 108. Sunday morning at 7:30 I opened the door to go outside and my glasses fogged up from the humidity. By 8:30 I was working on cleaning out the garden shed (a dark red metal shed with no windows). I have been in saunas that were cooler. Kimmy was a trooper! Through it all she was her usual perky, upbeat self. If it hadn't been for her, I think I would have just quit! It was too damn hot! But, as it is we only have one more trip to make. We filled another 20 ft dumpster (that's #2) of junk, and I think we have all of the garbage out of the way. The few things that are left are goodwill, or haul home. Keep your fingers crossed that the house sells quickly!
